When you mentioned the "Meat Lovers Pizza" that the family enjoyed, I got to thinking of a family pizza activity you may all enjoy together, after the fact. Since it was "National Sausage Pizza Day", what if each member chose a favorite sausage type and sliced/diced/crumbled it whichever way they want for a pizza topping. Then, whether on one large pizza or individual-sized ones, each member tops a sector of a large pizza (or their individual one) w/ that sausage and any other "stuff" (e.g., different cheeses, a lot or little tomato sauce, etc).
