Sour Patch Kids Jelly Beans - Taste Test Comparison with Aubrey and Jared

Time to add one more item to the growing list of all the different Sour Patch Kids things we have tried. There's been Sour Patch Kids Ice Pops, Ice Cream, Sour Patch Kids Cereal, Marshmallows, Yogurt, Sour Patch Kids Chips Ahoy Cookies, Sour Patch Kids Watermelon Ice Pops, Sour Patch Kids Freezer Pops, Sour Patch Kids Popcorn, Sour Patch Kids Gelatin, Sour Patch Kids Gum and even Sour Patch Kids Oreos! 

With Easter here, we have received a special Sour Patch Kids Jelly Bean! 

And I love when we can do taste tests with someone who really really loves the thing we're tasting. Aubrey and Jared are visiting from Michigan and she loves Sour Patch Kids! 

So I was happy that we could taste them with her! And like always, we'll compare these new Sour Patch Kids Jelly Beans to the Original Sour Patch Kids and see how close they really are to the real thing. 

Carnival Magic Day 8 at Sea and returning home - 2025/03/15-16

It's the last day of our Carnival Cruise! Our very first Carnival Cruise together as a family! It's a day at sea so we'll be busying ourselves with activities on the ship, but we'll have a good time. 

Carnival Magic Day 6 at Sea and Day 7 in the Dominican Republic - 2025/03/13-14

It's time for Days 6 and 7 on our 8 day Carnival Cruise. We're headed to the Dominican Republic but first, we've got a day at sea on our way there. 

Carnival Magic - Day 5 - Curacao - 2025/03/12

It's Day 5 into our 8 day Carnival Magic cruise and today we're headed to Curacao! 

Carnival Magic - Day 4 - Aruba - 2025/03/11

It's Day 4 on our Carnival Magic Cruise and we're having an absolute blast! The last couple days have been Sea Days, but today we've arrived at our first port! Aruba!

I couldn't get Google Maps to show the cruise route, but it went from Miami, between Cuba and the Bahamas, beside Haiti and down to the small island of Aruba. 

Carnival Magic - Days 2 and 3 at Sea - 2025/03/09-10

It's Day 2 of our 8 day Carnival Magic Cruise. And today is a Day at Sea. We're sailing down to Aruba and it's going to take a couple days to get there. That means we're spending the day on the boat and enjoying all that it has to offer! 

Our first night in our cruise ship cabin went well. Being an inside cabin, it's super dark, and no one was in a rush to get up. Luckily on "Days at Sea" they offer a sit down brunch that goes until 11:30am or so. And from what our family, who have done this cruise before, tells us, it's one of the best meals on the boat! 

Blue Raspberry Icee Peeps and Peeps flavored Icee - taste test comparison

Today we're trying the last of our collection of Peeps flavors we've gathered this Easter. We found Dr Pepper Peeps (which were delicious), Rice Krispies Treats Peeps (which were unremarkable), and Churro Peeps (which were also unremarkable). For our last flavor, we are trying Peeps Blue Raspberry Icee! 

And so, we headed to the store to find Icees that we could compare them to! "But wait," I hear you say, "haven't you already tried Blue Raspberry Peeps?" Wow, what an amazing memory you have. I'm impressed. We have indeed tried Blue Raspberry Peeps, but those were a little different.  

Back in 2020, right as the pandemic started, we found Blue Raspberry Peeps, but they weren't branded as Icee at that time. Despite that, I was trying to think of things to compare it to that were blue raspberry flavored. Even back then I chose Blue Raspberry Icees and Blue Raspberry Sour Punch Straws!
