A friend of mine from work who knows how much my family loves Disney came across this monorail set a few months ago. He kept it at his house for a while, but it took up so much space he was looking to get rid of it. He asked if I’d like it and of course I jumped at the chance to take it home.

Ruston and Joe practice for the Pasadena Chalk Festival

For the past few years, Theresa, Jacob and I make sure to keep Father’s Day weekend free, so we can join Ruston in Pasadena to attend the Pasadena Chalk Festival. I don’t remember who suggested it, but somehow the idea came up that instead of just being spectators this year, maybe we could be participants. Ruston and I were intrigued. Since we’ve never done anything like this before, Ruston and I knew we needed to practice before we actually attempt anything like this.

Magic Kingdom part 1

I’m going to Disney World!
We’re in Florida with all the rest of T’s family spending the week at Disney World. Yesterday we went to Typhoon Lagoon, but today it’s the big show. That’s right. The Magic Kingdom!
The rest of the family left the house bright and early to be here for park opening. T, Ian, Chi, Richard and I took our time and got there just a little later.
