Alli at home - 10/18/2015

As we pulled up to the house, we were greeted by Ian, Grammy, Grandpa, and lots of pink balloons.

At home, Ian was happy to see his mommy again.

Alli gave Ian the last of her presents for him (two more Disney Tsum Tsums), before she headed off to take a nap.

Trying out the swing to see if that keeps her content.
Hi Sister! He's been such a good big brother.

We've got a tired one.

But when she wants to eat, she'll let you know it. She goes from 0 to 100 pretty quickly.

Our first night home, the four of us sat on the couch and read books together before bedtime.

Cheese!

Alli's first book was a Winnie the Pooh book, same as Ian's first book.

Time to go to bed. Nighty night sister.
After Ian had been down to bed for maybe 30 minutes, Theresa had Alli in the living room and Alli started crying. From Ian's room we hear him excitedly yell "Little Sister!!!"

Monday morning we take our first car trip as a family. Nowhere special. Just a breastfeeding class for Alli and Theresa.

While we're out, Ian and I run some errands. I suggest we get some flowers for mommy and Alli. Ian picks out which kind to get for each of them.

I start to push the cart away, then Ian said "Grammy too?" Sure buddy, let's get some for Grammy too.

To kill a little more time until T's class finishes, we also hit up the nearby Lowes. Checking out their pumpkins in the garden center.

And riding on the doggie statues. Ian hopped on the back of one of them first, then he said "Daddy too?"

Alli did good at breastfeeding class. She's putting on weight pretty quickly.

More kisses from Ian.

Alli's first bath at home went about as good as it did at the hospital. The grandparents were around to watch and were impressed by the set of lungs Alli's got. She's going to be a great singer they said.

Going for our first walk.

This double stroller feels huge.

Later in the week, Alli went to her pediatrician to get checked out. She got seen in the princess room.

Back at home, she mostly spends her days sleeping and eating.

Every once in a while, you'll get to see her eyes.

But it's never for very long. Big yawns.

And she's asleep again.

Ian keeping an eye on his little sister while she sleeps.
