Hawaii Day 5 - 2025/07/06

Jumping back to our summer travels. I've got a lot to still write about! We had an eventful summer. 

Today though isn't all that full. It's mostly a relaxing day still in Hawaii. 

After finishing breakfast, we were off to another fun day on the island. 

Where to? 

Back to the far Chuck E Cheese we visited yesterday. 

Always good to see Chuck. 

Alli and I putting up high scores on piano keys. 

Then I slowly ramped up the high score on basketball. Getting those big scores in and getting a bunch of tickets. 

We've got a winner on Monopoly! 

Thanks Chuck E! We won lots of tickets again today, enough for a top shelf prize! 

Now we're back at the hotel and off to the beach! Enjoying the beautiful Hawaiian sunshine. 

Alli has been enjoying the boogie boarding. 

But was happy to go float with me and let the waves push us around. 

Ian found his friends from yesterday and they're back at it again, digging out a hole in the sand. 

Alright, let's see what waves we can catch. 

It's dinner time and time to head back to the hotel. These beaches have been plenty crowded, but we've still found a place close to the water. It's great that the hotel has beach chairs to borrow and we didn't have to buy/rent our own. And I love that the beach is right outside the hotel! 

Remember how on the first day here, we didn't get our room until quite a bit after normal check-in time, and got free drink vouchers? The kids were happy to use those for virgin frozen drinks. 

And the lounge dessert tonight has tasty treats, including lemon bars! Yum! Pretty low-key day, but fun!
