2025 Summer Travels - Surprise 50th Birthday Party for Tyler! 2025/07/12

We've already had two small celebrations for Tyler's 50th birthday, but here's the big reason we're here. Months ago, Aubrey wanted to do a big surprise party for her dad's 50th birthday, and this weekend is the big celebration! 

So many people were in on it, with different jobs to play. Tyler's buddies took him out golfing that morning. 

Which left everyone else enough time to get the final things done. Like making lots and lots of chocolate chip cookies! 

One of the family friends offered the use of their house and yard for the big party. Aubrey even got a big tent!

We're here early to get things set up. 

Everyone has a job to do. 

Jared manning the grill, getting hot dogs, brats, and burgers ready. 

Alli and Ian putting hot dogs in buns and wrapping them up in foil to put in the warming bin. 

Lots of desserts. 

Lots of tables and chairs for everyone coming. 

It's almost time!

Aubrey even made a big sign.

It's like a big family reunion! So much of the Illinois family visiting for today.
