2016 Valentines Day weekend

Happy Valentines Day! We had a great weekend around town!

Ian and mommy enjoyed painting on driveway, though after a while Ian started painting his hands.

It's such beautiful weather out today that in order to clean Ian off, we pulled out the garden hose. He enjoyed a Popsicle on the porch afterwards. His favorite flavor is "medicine".

It is a beautiful day, it's it. Let's go to the beach!

We stopped by 7/11 and grabbed the biggest Slurpees we could find on the way.

It's Alli's first trip to the beach!

And it was just a little too much fresh air for her. She was quickly out.

Ian however has a bunch of energy to burn off.

Off to the end of the pier!

And he had a blast chasing pigeons.

Look-out pigeons! Ian told me "I want to catch one."

Time to play on the swings.

And play in the sand.

Alli's awake! How about touching the sand with your toes? She didn't have any issues with the sand texture.

Hopping in the hole I dug with Ian.

Ahh! And she's eating sand!

Happy Valentines Day! I have a flower for you.

Here you go sister.

Trying to put it in her hand.

I had a 6 month outfit set aside for Alli a while back. She's 4 months old, but she's wearing 9-12 month clothes, so it was way too tight. Oh well.

Into the next outfit.

Happy siblings.

With nothing to do today we headed out to the grocery store, but ended up at the Korean restaurant for lunch. Mmm. Theresa's favorite.
Ian tried to use the chopsticks with varying success.

After lunch we told Ian we were going to get ice cream! Off to Pinkberry! Theresa was unsure what flavor Ian would like, so we took them up on their offers of free samples. The very first sample he said "This is yogurt". Can't fool him. He knows the difference between ice cream and yogurt.
Ian enjoyed a cone "all by myself".

Alli was interested, but Theresa said no.

Valentine presents! Duffy (and Shellie May) bears for everyone!

And dinner was a delicious combination of steak and cheese fondue!

Happy Valentines Day!
