Happy Easter!
We met this family back in 2023 and have randomly ended up at the same campground a few times! We coordinated this time and are parked just a few spots away from each other!
Theresa and filled a few eggs and scattered them around our site.
The kids got baskets and found all the eggs really quickly.
Going through their bounty.
It's hot here in Florida, so they've taken some time to play with water balloons and water squirters.
And our friends' RV backs up to a small field. The kids decided they wanted to build a fort together, named for the youngest "Fort Nora". They gathered dead sticks, dry grass, and made mud to hold thing together.
Ian - We're architects, engineers, and construction workers too!
And after a lot of work and gathering, they made a standing hut that even has a roof!
Nora enjoyed being in charge and telling them where to put things.
And it's traditional to have pizza on Sunday no matter what holiday it is! We love our pizza!
Happy Easter! That's pretty neat that you're able to coordinate with that other RV family since the kids have a wonderful time together...a real sense of community and friendship is built there. The kids had so much fun with the water games (definitely a plus w/ that hot Florida weather), egg hunting (who doesn't like to find a colorful egg filled w/ surprises), and getting creative with that fine-looking hut (they actually went into it, too!). The thoughtful gift baskets Ian & Alli made were very, very special and heart-warming to the kids receiving them. EOM
