Skittles Freezer Pops

Skittles makes Freezer Pops? Knowing I like these kinds of things, a friend of mine sent me a text letting me know they existed. After a quick check on Walmart.com, 15 minutes later I had a box being shipped my way!

Alli has seen the box on the shelf in the garage and has been asking me about them continuously. Like every time we get home from a bike ride. After one particularly long bike ride, on a warm sunny day, I figured it would be the perfect time to cool off with a Skittles Freezer Pop taste test.

Making Old Time Noodle House (Korean Food) at Home!

This "Made at Home" series has been a lot of fun, and we've got a lot more planned. It's a wonder that this one took so long to get to. During normal times, we'd be eating at the Old Time Noodle House almost every weekend. So often that they know our order before we even say anything. We've got to try making it at home.

Chips Ahoy Sour Patch Kids cookies

Today there's an interesting one. When I think about product mashups, Chip Ahoy Cookies and Sour Patch Kids is not one that comes to mind. But on a recent weekly shopping trip to Walmart, the bright yellow packaging stood out. Because we try just about everything the Sour Patch Kids put out, I grabbed a bag to bring home to the kids.

And we'll be trying them along with the Sour Patch Kids Candy. The tagline for this product is Sour. Sweet. Gone.

Making Chicken Dijon At Home!

There's one meal that Alli has been asking for us to make at home ever since we started this whole series.
Alli - Please can we have Chicken Dijon?
It seems like every week, a few times a week, she'll ask if we can make Chicken Dijon. Well lucky for you little girl, tonight is your night.

Kit Kat Ice Cream

Gimme a break! Gimme a break! Break me off a piece of that Kit Kat Bar. It's been a busy morning and so for a treat, I told the kids that they deserve a break.

So today, we're trying the new Kit Kat Ice Cream.

Making Wienerschnitzel at Home!

It's time for another Made at Home meal. Nothing too crazy. Tonight we're doing Wienerschnitzel for dinner and Tastee-Freez for dessert.

Pizza at Home - Chicago Deep Dish

Today we're starting a new series. We'll still continue the other series where we're recreating restaurants at home, but, Sunday is usually pizza day at our house and Theresa had a great idea.
Theresa - Why don't we try to make all the different styles of pizza, but at home?
There's certainly a lot we can choose from. The classic round pizza of course, New York style, Detroit style, a simple Italian Neapolitan, Thin Crust, Pizza on the Grill, and tonight's pizza, the Chicago Deep Dish.
