On December 15, 2011 Theresa and I went to the Walt Disney concert hall for a little bit of Christmas music.
We booked tickets to Chanticleer way back in August, and
learned later that week the our friends Steph and Farman and Adam had
bought tickets completely independent of us. Turns out when we got there, out of all the seats and rows they could have been in, they were just 4 seats away from us in the very same row.
The show was... not quite what we were expecting. They are an acapella group of 12 members and I was expecting something like Rockapella (the Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego guys). What we got were more choir like, slow songs in foreign languages. We were really hoping for more peppy, upbeat songs. In the end, it was interesting to go to, but not really our cup of tea.
