Happy National Chocolate Milkshake Day - September 12th
It's National Chocolate Milkshake Day today and for my money, Chick-Fil-A makes one of the tastiest fast-food shakes around. I think it's because their ice cream (Icedream) has that old fashioned ice cream flavor and it makes a really good milkshake. And they top it with whipped cream and a cherry.
And both kids want that cherry, so when daddy forgets to ask for 2 cherries, they have to split it.

Jamocha always! But if I went for one at CFA, it would be the one they let us try when we were just rolling them out and practicing making it. It was insane - cookies and cream chocolate cheesecake milkshake. Had to pulverize the cheesecake slice and then add more of the shake base to make it blend. Way too sweet but definitely a fun memory! The 3 of us working drive thru split it that night.
ReplyDeleteNever had store-bought milkshakes! Growing up we had "homemade" ones at home with the blender...chocolate would have to be my favorite. But the Jamocha from Arby's sounds delicious since it's a chocolate and coffee combination. Funny how those colored sweet cherries taste better than they look (I use to ignore them until I got hungry enough one day to try it; and was surprised I actually liked it!) EOM
