I've made my own churros at home a few times when we made Disney Treats at home, tasted Cinnamon Toast Crunch Churros, and Chocolate Cinnamon Toast Crunch Churros. Today though, we'll give someone else a chance. I found these Goya Churros with chocolate dipping sauce at our local Target.

This year, Reese's has got a new offering, filling their beloved peanut butter cups with sugar cookie bits! 

With it be a holiday classic for all time, or will it soon become a ghost of Christmas past? Let's taste them and find out! 

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Dessert Taco Shells taste test

It's Taco Tuesday! A very exciting day! But what's this? Never did I ever think that I might be combining one of our many Cinnamon Toast Crunch taste tests along with Taco Tuesday. But, as I was wandering around Walmart, I noticed these next to the regular taco shells. 

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Dessert Taco Shells! I mean, obviously we've got to give them a try. 

The box says that they've partnered with Old El Paso, who already make really good taco shells. These shells are blasted with Cinnadust to give them a Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavor. Let's try them! 

Ghost Toast Kit Kat - Cinnamon Toast flavored - Taste Test Comparison

It's nearly Halloween which means there's all sorts of new treats coming around for the season. We already tried Mountain Dew VooDEW and today, another classic brand that we like to try has brought out a special flavor just for the season. 

Introducing KitKat Ghost Toast! 

Ghost Toast? What flavor is ghost toast? 

According to the packaging, these are Crisp Wafers in a Cinnamon Toast flavored Creme. 

Gotcha. Well, if we're going to try these, we must have some cinnamon toast to go along with it! I was just planning to make buttered toast with cinnamon sugar on it, but Jacob mentioned that it was a Cinnamon Toast Creme. Because of that, he grabbed some Cream Cheese frosting too!

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Yogurt Taste Test Comparison

In our quest to try everything that is Cinnamon Toast Crunch (seriously, check it out), I came upon yet another new item. Cinnamon Toast Crunch Yogurt! Will this be as delicious as the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Ice Cream? Or a bit of a dud like the CTC Treat Bars? Let's give it a taste and find out! 

This yogurt is made by Yoplait and promises to be Cinnamon Vanilla flavored. Yum! That sounds like it could be good! 

Saturday Morning Cereals - Cinnamon Toast Crunch Waffle Cereal

If you search for "Cinnamon Toast Crunch" on this site, you'll find dozens of different CTC products that we've tried. Well Cinnamon Toast Crunch isn't done innovating and yet again we're getting to try something new! 

Today we get to eat Cinnamon Toast Crunch Waffle Cereal! 

And any time I can, I'll compare the cereal to what it's supposed to represent, so today, we're making waffles! And you can't have waffles without maple syrup, can you? We are fortunate enough to have some from our good friends the Coutures from their Maple Syrup farm! We taste tested lots of different maple products from their store and loved the maple syrup. 

Saturday Morning Cereals - Insta-bowls Kellogg's Cereal taste test comparison

Happy Saturday! What's for breakfast? Cereal! The perfect thing to enjoy with Saturday morning cartoons (if that's even a thing anymore). 

Today, we're trying something new from Kellogg's! Insta-bowls cereal! We've got to try this with Pop Pop. He loves cereal!

So, imagine, you want a delicious bowl of cereal, but you find that you're all out of milk! No worries! Insta-bowls has you covered! Just add cold water, give it a stir, and you just created real milk! 

Naturally we're trying every bowl along with its counterpart. Apple Jacks, Froot Loops, Frosted Flakes, and finally Raisin Bran Crunch. Theresa would not let me take the easy way out and just use a bowl of Raisin Bran. We had to find the Raisin Bran Crunch in the mini-bowl to match.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch has a brand new flavor out for the Holidays! Along with the Sugar Cookie Toast Crunch, that we tried a while ago, this winter they've also released Gingerbread Toast Crunch. 

I love seeing a new flavor from Cinnamon Toast Crunch! Every time I see a new flavor of Cinnamon Toast Crunch I try it along with whatever it's supposed to be emulating! And I've made a whole bunch of different ones! 

I've done the original Cinnamon Toast Crunch and a loaf of homemade bread for homemade cinnamon toast. French Toast Crunch with homemade bread for homemade french toast. Chocolate Toast Crunch and a loaf of homemade Chocolate Bread. Cinnamon Toast Crunch Churros and making homemade churros! And of course when Cinnamon Toast Crunch Chocolate Churros came out, I had to make those too. For Sugar Cookie Toast Crunch, the kids and I made sugar cookies. Apple Pie Toast Crunch and my sister-in-law Megan's homemade apple pie. Cinna-Graham Toast Crunch where I made homemade Graham Crackers for the first time! Cinnamon Roll Toast Crunch with homemade cinnamon rolls. Even CinnaFuego Cinnamon Toast Crunch that we tried with Freckle Bread!

Cinnamon Toast Crunch with another new item? I mean, we've tried so many different ones before, we've got to try one more! So so much Cinnamon Toast Crunch things. 

And whenever the need arises, I like to bake a fresh loaf of bread to go along with it. If we're having Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, freshly baked bread with cinnamon sugar is going to be perfect! 

But today instead of cinnamon sugar, Cinnamon Toast Crunch has given us a Creamy Cinnamon Spread to go on top!

It's time for another version of Cinnamon Toast Crunch! We've tried so many different kinds at this point, I was happy to see that my brother found yet another! CinnaFuego Toast Crunch! Fuego means "Fire" in spanish, so these are expected to be spicy! 

And just like every single other Cinnamon Toast Crunch taste test we've done, I set out to make something to compare against the cereal. What should we have today? Since it's going to be a hot cereal, I wanted to make a hot cinnamon bread. In my research, I found something called Freckle Bread! Let's make it!

It's time for another Saturday morning cereal taste test! And this time Cinnamon Toast Crunch has a something new! So far we have tried every version of Cinnamon Toast Crunch that I've been able to get my hands on.

Chocolate Toast Crunch and a loaf of homemade Chocolate Bread. Cinnamon Toast Crunch Churros and making homemade churros! And of course when Cinnamon Toast Crunch Chocolate Churros came out, I had to make those too. For Sugar Cookie Toast Crunch, the kids and I made sugar cookies. Apple Pie Toast Crunch and my sister-in-law Megan's homemade apple pie. And Cinna-Graham Toast Crunch where I made homemade Graham Crackers for the first time! 

Now there's a new one where the Cinnamon Toast Crunch bakers have taken the next logical leap and made Cinnamon Toast Crunch Rolls. Like Cinnamon Rolls! I don't think this is going to be a close comparison at all, but let's give this a try!

Before we all got together, my niece Avery asked if I could make Cinnamon Rolls while everyone was together. I sure can! This is the perfect opportunity to do it!

My brother Patrick saw these announced by Betty Crocker first and bought them all for us to try. There's Cinnamon Toast Crunch cookie mix, Cinnamon Toast Crunch pancakes, Cinnamon Toast Crunch cake mix, Cinnamon Toast Crunch frosting, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch Coffee Cake mix.

General Mills what have you done!

In an effort to bring some excitement to what normally be a boring bowl of oatmeal, General Mills has decided to combine 4 of its popular cereal flavors with oatmeal. 

There's Cocoa Puffs for the chocolate lovers, Cinnamon Toast Crunch for the cinnamon lovers, Lucky Charms for the marshmallow lovers, and Trix for the fruit lovers.

Happy Saturday! I love trying out new cereals! Today we've got a fun one. It's CinnaGraham Toast Crunch! 

We've tried so many different versions of Cinnamon Toast Crunch and done taste test comparisons. For the original Cinnamon Toast Crunch, I made a loaf of homemade bread and made my own cinnamon toast out of it. For French Toast Crunch, I made a loaf of bread and we made French Toast to compare it to. Likewise for Chocolate Toast Crunch, I made a loaf of Chocolate Bread. When Cinnamon Toast Crunch Churros came out, I made my own homemade churros! And of course when Cinnamon Toast Crunch Chocolate Churros came out, I had to make those too. For Sugar Cookie Toast Crunch, the kids and I made sugar cookies. When Apple Pie Toast Crunch came out, my sister-in-law Megan made a homemade apple pie for us to taste along side it. That is a lot of different versions of Cinnamon Toast Crunch!

So when I was at the grocery store and saw a brand new version, CinnaGraham Toast Crunch, I knew we'd have to give it a try. And what should we have along side it to compare it with? How about homemade graham crackers! I've never tried making those before! Let's get started!

Pizza at Home 2021 - Looking back at a year of pizza

In June of 2020 I started a quest to make pizza for the family every week. And not just any pizza. My goal was to make a unique pizza every single week for as long as I could, and in total I made at least 38 special pizzas in 2020. At the beginning of the 2021 I wasn't sure how much longer I could come up with different pizzas, but as the year went on, new ideas and new inspiration kept coming.

It's time for another Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal variety! In the past we've tried Cinnamon Toast Crunch (with homemade bread for Cinnamon Toast), French Toast Crunch (with homemade bread and homemade French Toast), Chocolate Toast Crunch (with homemade chocolate bread), Cinnamon Toast Crunch Churros (with homemade churros), and Sugar Cookie Toast Crunch (with homemade sugar cookies). 

Now there's something new! Apple Pie Toast Crunch! I like pie even more than I like cake, and apple pie is one of my favorites. 

My sister-in-law Megan has a great recipe for apple pie and offered to make it for me for this taste test comparison. Thank you!

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnadust seasoning blend taste test

Today we got to try something new by the people who make Cinnamon Toast Crunch. It's Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnadust! 

Cinnamon Toast Crunch is produced by General Mills. This Cinnadust is produced under license by B&G Foods, who make other such spice blends as Mrs. Dash, Accent MSG, and dozens of other known brands. 

The ingredients list sugar, cinnamon, salt, and natural flavors. Their website states that it has notes of caramel, vanilla, and graham flavors. We'll see!

The Flowers Explore - Tompkins Bend Arkansas - 2021/07/15-19

After leaving Crystal Springs, it was just a short 20 minute drive to Tompkins Bend. I could get used to these short travel days. Normally we'd stay in the same place, but Theresa couldn't reserve a single site at Crystal Springs for the entire week. That's okay though. We like seeing new places too. 

Saturday Morning Cereals - Cinnamon Toast Crunch Chocolate Churros

What's this? A new Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal? Chocolate Churros huh? Well you know what we're going to do, right? 

When we tried Cinnamon Toast Crunch, I made my own homemade sandwich bread and we used it to make Cinnamon Toast to compare it to. 

For Chocolate Toast Crunch, similarly, I made a loaf of chocolate bread, toasted it, and dusted it with cinnamon and sugar. 

For French Toast Crunch, you guessed it, I made a brioche and we had french toast to eat along with it. 

The Sugar Cookie Toast Crunch, we made sugar cookies to eat with it. 

And when General Mills came out with Cinnamon Toast Crunch Churros, the kids and I made homemade churros for the very first time to try together with it. 

And so of course when I saw that these brand new Cinnamon Toast Crunch Chocolate Churros existed, I had to pick up a box, and I knew that we'd be making some chocolate churros to go along with them!
