Ghost Toast Kit Kat - Cinnamon Toast flavored - Taste Test Comparison

It's nearly Halloween which means there's all sorts of new treats coming around for the season. We already tried Mountain Dew VooDEW and today, another classic brand that we like to try has brought out a special flavor just for the season. 

Introducing KitKat Ghost Toast! 

Ghost Toast? What flavor is ghost toast? 

According to the packaging, these are Crisp Wafers in a Cinnamon Toast flavored Creme. 

Gotcha. Well, if we're going to try these, we must have some cinnamon toast to go along with it! I was just planning to make buttered toast with cinnamon sugar on it, but Jacob mentioned that it was a Cinnamon Toast Creme. Because of that, he grabbed some Cream Cheese frosting too!

Chocolate Frosted Donut KitKat taste test comparison

Happy Sunday! Weekends are perfect for donuts, and so today, we have a Chocolate Donut taste test! 

What confection has dared to try to live up to the perfection that is the Chocolate Donut? Looks like KitKat is going to give it a try! 

To taste alongside this Chocolate Frosted Donut KitKat, we've got to find a really good donut. One of my favorites is Krispy Kreme (thank you Amy and Donald for sharing for this taste test). These light and airy donuts are already amazing, but heat them in the microwave for a few seconds and they are phenomenal. 

We know KitKat can make some pretty amazing flavors. We've done a taste test where we tried 28 different Kit Kat flavors from all over Japan.

A new Kit Kat flavor! We love trying all the different Kit Kat flavors! 

Walking through a local 7/11, Megan saw these at the counter.

Knowing how many taste test things I still have waiting to do, can you believe I actually said "No thank you."
Well, Megan wasn't about to let me slide and went ahead and bought one. Then the next day she went back and bought 2 more! Okay then, let's do a Kit Kat Churro taste test!

There are times when I would make my own churros to go with it, but in this case, Patrick and Megan picked up churros from Costco before coming over. Thanks!

Every Steak 'n Shake Milkshake Flavor taste test! 17 different flavors!

It's summertime and it's probably hot where you are right now. Today we've got a really fun taste test! It's one I've had in mind for a little while. 

I love milkshakes and there's one fast food place that is super well known for making the best milkshakes in the industry. Steak 'n Shake! 

Steak 'n Shake has 17 different milkshake flavors on its regular menu and today we're going to try them all! 

Gingerbread KitKat and Gingerbread Cookie Taste Test

I guess we love gingerbread because we've got yet another fun gingerbread taste test to try today. 

Today it's a Gingerbread KitKat taste test, along with homemade gingerbread cookies!

Maple KitKat Taste Test along with Couture Maple Syrup

A KitKat flavor I haven't tried yet? Yes please! Thank you Megan for finding these! 

I do indeed love Maple, as do many of my family members. When Megan pulled these out after we got to Colorado I was excited to try them! It's a good thing I brought all these other maple items to try along with it. 

We picked these up at the Couture Maple Shop when we were in Vermont. Jacques and Pauline Couture showed us everything that went into making maple syrup from their groves of maple trees, to the sugar shack, to the kitchens where they make all their delicious products. We'll be tasting 4 different grades of maple syrup (lightest flavor to strongest), maple cream, maple peanuts and almonds, maple cotton candy, maple sugar candy, and maple drops. Let's get started!

Theresa and I went through a list of all the classic candy bars and chose the most popular. Popularity was also determined by if we could find it easily at CVS, Meijer, and Walmart.

Happy Halloween! This year Halloween falls on Sunday and Sundays around here are pizza day! When Ian heard that, he told me he wanted to make a candy pizza for Halloween! I don't know how good that will be, but he's excited for it, so let's go for it!

Fruity Cereal Kit Kat

Who likes Froot Loops? We do! In fact, it's Alli's favorite cereal. Normally I'm the one finding the interesting treats, but this time Theresa was walking through Walmart and saw these bright pink Kit Kats. We've got to try them!

Any time there's a new Kit Kat flavor, I'm excited to give it a try. This one is supposed to taste like Apple Pie! Grandpa loves Apple Pie so he's going to join us for this one. 

And we're going to have a real apple pie to go along with it. It'll give us a real basis for comparison.

Happy Fall! Within the last year Kit Kat has given us Pumpkin Pie Fall Kit Kats, Sweet Cinnamon Christmas Kit Kat, Raspberry Creme Valentine Kit Kats, Lemon Crisp Spring Kit Kats, and even Birthday Cake Kit Kats. Now that it's Halloween there's a special Witch's Brew Kit Kat!

What flavor is Witch's Brew? Marshmallow flavored apparently. 

A massive 15 Goldfish cracker taste test comparison!

There's times when we get the urge to TRY ALL THE THINGS! We've tried 12 Lays Chips with our Flavors of America taste test, 17 M&Ms at one time, 19 kinds of Pringles in one sitting, 28 Kit Kat Flavors, and a whopping 53 different Reese's flavors at once.
Today it's not quite to those levels, but I did buy every single flavor of Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Crackers that I could find. We've got 15 different varieties today!
I love the fishes cause they're so delicious! Gone Goldfishin'!

Taste testing Cinnamon Toast Crunch Ice Cream

Phew, it's hot in Southern California. I could use some ice cream to cool down.
Good thing I picked up something new that we can all taste together! Cinnamon Toast Crunch now makes an ice cream!

We'll be tasting the Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal along with the new Cinnamon Toast Crunch ice cream.

Happy Birthday Kit Kat! - Taste testing Kit Kat Birthday Cake

Time for another Kit Kat taste test! Did you know that today is Kit Kat's Birthday? August 29th, 1935, which means it's turning 85 today!
To celebrate, we've got a birthday cake flavored Kit Kat bar! We're excited! We recently read the Kit Kat taste test we did from 2016. Alli was a baby then and didn't get to participate, so the kids want to redo that soon.

And of course we'll be trying it alongside a piece of birthday cake! Pink candle on the packaging. Better get a pink candle for our cake too.

Kit Kat Ice Cream Cones

Kit Kat must be expanding into the ice cream business! About a month ago we tasted the Brand New Kit Kat Ice Cream. Now they've got another new offering, Kit Kat Ice Cream Cones! And if it's a Drumstick style ice cream cone, Richard is sure to be joining us. He loves those kinds of freezer treats.

Each box has 8 cones in it, and there's two flavors. Vanilla and Chocolate, though for some reason they call them Wafer with Fudge and Chocolate Wafer.

Kit Kat Ice Cream

Gimme a break! Gimme a break! Break me off a piece of that Kit Kat Bar. It's been a busy morning and so for a treat, I told the kids that they deserve a break.

So today, we're trying the new Kit Kat Ice Cream.

Lemon Crisp Kit Kats

Kit Kat is on a roll. For Halloween they made Pumpkin Pie Kit Kats. At Christmas it was Sweet Cinnamon. Valentine's Day brought Raspberry Creme. I was looking forward to what they'd come out with next. I thought it would be something Easter related.
On a recent trip to Colorado, my brother surprised me with a bag of these new Lemon Crisp Kit Kats! Not Easter related, but instead a celebration of Spring!

The packaging is nice and bright. There are lemon slices and flowers on both the outer packaging and the individual packages.

A Korean Snack Taste Test

Uncle Jacob went to Korea and he brought back snacks! Knowing how much we enjoy doing taste tests, he brought us some interesting treats!

There's a Crown Kicker bar, a Haitai Freetime bar, and a Nongshim Banana Kick puffs.
