Thank you Science! The kids have been waiting for this day for a long time!
The kids were super excited today! They've been waiting for a long time for this day. Covid shots for kids are now available! Ian's birthday is soon, but he said he's more excited for this. We're ready for things to start getting back to normal.
As soon as they announced vaccine availability for Kids 5-11, Theresa and I were online that night at midnight to make an appointment. We were supposed to be one of the first appointments available Saturday morning, but when we arrived, Walgreens had a problem with their system. They sent us away, promising a phone call when it was fixed, but we didn't hear from them until the pharmacy was closed for the day.
Good thing Theresa and I made a backup appointment for Sunday!
Ian went first. Shots are no problem at all.
Alli got to pick out her bandaid.
Didn't even flinch. Shots are no big deal.
And they both got suckers for being so good!
