Holiday Pringles are here!

Happy Holidays! Special holiday edition Pringles are back for a limited time! I had previously checked out the Holiday Pringles back in 2013, when they released Pecan Pie and Cinnamon & Sugar. When I looked this year, I saw there were a few more flavors available, but let me tell you, they were not all easy to find.

Scorchin' Sour Cream and Onion Pringles

Could this be a case of "Ask and ye shall receive"? 

A little while ago we did a taste test with the original three Scorchin' flavors: Scorchin' Cheddar, Scorchin' Chili Lime, and Scorchin' BBQ. At the end of it, I was wishing that they would have made a Scorchin' version of my favorite flavor, the Sour Cream & Onion Pringles. 

Luckily for me, we've recently had Theresa's sister visit from Michigan and she brought me a tube!

These Scorchin' Sour Cream & Onion Pringles can only be tested against my favorite chip. Which one will reign supreme? 

Mr Pringles, aka Julius Pringles, or Mr. P, has steam coming from his ears on the Scorchin' tube. Are they really going to be that hot? 

Minecraft Suspicious Stew Pringles taste test comparison

Minecraft? Pringles? Two things that the kids just happen to love! 

A longtime reader of the blog sent me a link to these Suspicious Stew Minecraft Pringles, letting me know about them and suggesting we make a stew to try along with them. That definitely sounds like our kind of taste test! Thank you for sending it to us!

But, despite all my efforts, I could not find these Minecraft Pringles in stores anywhere! Luckily, my brother Patrick keeps an eye out for these sorts of things too, and grabbed a canister for us. Thank you!

So, we've got to make a stew now. I know just who to ask to help. 

Chili Cheese Pringles taste test comparison

New Pringles? Absolutely! Today we're going to try a Chili Cheese Fries Pringles! 

And of course we've got to make our own to try along with it! I tried to match the picture on the Pringles canister as best I could. Straight cut fries, chunky chili, nacho cheese and even the chopped onions!

It's another Pringles Taste Test! This time bringing us two flavors from Mexico!

Mexican Street Corn Pringles and Street Taco Pringles! And since we like to try every taste test we can along with what that flavor is supposed to represent, we've got homemade Mexican Street Corn and Pulled Pork Street Taco, just to see if they got their flavors right.

There's no question that we love Pringles. Way back in December we had a taste test where we tested 19 unique flavors of Pringles! So when my brother Patrick found a new flavor of Pringles that I haven't tried yet, he bought it and made sure I got it.

Wendy's Spicy Chicken Pringles taste test comparison

A new kind of Pringles! My brother Patrick found these for me so that I could do a taste test! We do love our Pringles. Like that time we tried 19 different flavors of Pringles at one time! That was a lot of fun!

Wendy's has partnered with Pringles to bring the flavors of one of their sandwiches into chip form. This isn't the first time they've done it either. A couple years ago, the Wendy's Baconator was also made into a Pringles flavor. We tried that one too, but didn't care for it much. Let's hope this one is better! 

Mister Pringles on the front of the can seems to be sweating from the heat. When we tried the Scorchin' flavors, he had steam coming from his ears. 

Baconator Pringles taste test

Today we've got another new Pringles flavor to try out! This one is supposed to taste like the Wendy's Baconator!

I saw these announced but could not find them anywhere. Luckily my brother and his wife in Colorado are always looking out for me. They mailed me this plus a few other things I couldn't find in Los Angeles. Thanks!

In lieu of buying the sandwich from Wendy's, I'm going to make it at home myself. Just like when we made an entire Wendy's meal at home including the Frostys!

Pringles Mingles - A New Offering from Pringles - Taste Test

Something new from Pringles? How can they do something new?

Usually it's just new Potato Crisp flavors from Pringles, but today I found something that is all together different than their usual chips. 

Pringles Mingles! 

Pringles Mingles are a puffed corn snack, versus a potato, and it's seasoned with two different flavors! 

The colors are throwing me off a little bit. 

Seaweed flavored Pringles from Japan taste test comparison

Earlier this year, Theresa, Alli, Ian, and I went to Japan for 3 weeks! While we were there, I found all sorts of interesting treats, some that I knew I wanted to bring back and try with everyone at home! 

First of those are these Pringles! We've tried dozens of different Pringles flavors over the years, including a taste test where we tried 19 different flavors of Pringles at once!  

Today we've got a flavor unlike anything we've had before. Seaweed flavor! That's definitely not one we'd find in the US. 

And like we always try to do here, along with the Seaweed Pringles, we'll also be having a roasted seaweed snack to go along with it. 

A Pringles Comparison - 19 different kinds of Pringles sampled

When the family is in town, the big taste tests come out. Today we're sampling every single Pringle that I could find. 19 different flavors! Like when we tried 17 different M&Ms, 12 unique Lay's Chips, or dozens of Kit Kats.

Scorchin Pringles Taste Test Comparison

Time for more Pringles! Ooh, this time they're all Scorchin! That means some heat, which means I'm really hoping I'm going to like these. 

There's three different flavors that have been released. Scorchin Cheddar, Scorchin Chili & Lime, and Scorchin BBQ. 

Moa Burger Pringles

A new Pringles flavor? Yes please! I've never heard of a Moa Burger. I saw these on the shelf of Walmart and grabbed them without looking into the background of what they are. 

I thought Moa sounded like something Hawaiian. Maybe this is a Hawaiian themed burger from somewhere. Either way I'll figure something out! 

Sweet Corn Pringles

I love new Pringles flavors! Today we've got a special one sent to me by my brother and his wife in Colorado. I couldn't find these anywhere in California. Today we're having Sweet Corn Pringles!

To go along with it, obviously we're going to be having corn on the cob. 

Rotisserie Chicken Pringles

Today we get to try out a new Pringles flavor! Honestly when I saw it on the shelf, I mistook it for something we've already tried before. We tried Roasted Turkey Pringles earlier this year and I thought these were those. But my brother knew better and had a few things shipped to me in a package, these included!

And since we're trying Rotisserie Chicken Pringles, we've got to have a Rotisserie Chicken to go along with it. Thank you Sam's Club for having a big chicken for just $5.

Japanese Curry Pringles - taste test comparison

One of the best parts about traveling is all the unique snacks that you can find! While we were in Japan in Fall 2023, we found a special treat by Pringles! Japanese Curry! 

These Pringles came in a pack with three snack size containers of Pringles in a fancy embossed black box. Of course when we tried them, we had to make our own curry to see how it all compared! 

Hot Honey Pringles taste test comparison

Okay, just one more Pringles taste test for now. There's certainly been a lot this week! 

This time we're trying Hot Honey Pringles! They are a Walmart Exclusive! 

Of course we've got to try them with my parents, who a few years ago kept bee hives and made their own Flowers' honey! My dad has a couple posts about it here. FlowersbeesVA.blogspot.com

To compare, we've got a couple bottles of Hot Honey from both Sue Bee and Trader Joe's. And while we could just eat the honey straight off a spoon, why not enjoy it instead on some of Megan's freshly baked sourdough bread! Yum!

Mystery Pringles 2019

Roasted Turkey Pringles

Time for a taste test! Any time Pringles comes out with something interesting, I like to give them a taste. These Roasted Turkey Pringles have been around since Thanksgiving, and we tasted them as part of our 19 different Pringle taste test. Now it's time to taste them by themselves.

And like usual, we'll taste them with what it's supposed to represent. In this case, Hillshire Farms Naturals Oven Roasted Turkey Breast.

Parmesan & Roasted Garlic Pringles - Homemade Roasted Garlic and Parmesan Potato Chips - National Potato Chip Day - March 14th

Hey, it's a new kind of Pringles! Parmesan and Roasted Garlic. Ooh, this one should taste delicious. We love garlic, and when it's combined with parmesan it's even better! But how are we going to make this a Flowers' taste test comparison? We also like to have the real thing to go up against the challenger. Who knew just 1 can of Pringles would teach me how to do 2 brand new things in the kitchen. And while I'm at it, I'm going to make this my entry for National Potato Chip day!

Today for our comparison, we're not just making Roasted Garlic to go with our grated Parmesan, we're making the potato chips too! I've never done that before! Let's get started!
