Finishing the 2020 Pasadena Chalk Drawing

I don't like leaving things unfinished...
After getting the kids to bed, I headed outside with the intent to finish it.

Just like Disney bounding as Woody when I was drawing Buzz, I bounded as Buzz to draw Woody. I put on a headlamp and got to work.

I started around 9pm and finished up right around midnight. And in the end, I had something the neighborhood could see and enjoy.
Just like before, I recorded it all and put it together with my original video.

Check out the setup. A floodlight taped to the ladder.

The next day, the kids helped me pull up the tape.

All done!

  1. OH MY GOODNESS!!!...Can't believe you had all that energy, and to do it in 3 hours at the end of the day (literally) and in the dark w/ a headlamp and floodlight!!! Never saw that coming. BEAUTIFUL job...think that deserves the "Never leave a Half-Way-Done-Job Undone Award"!!! Another great video editing job, too...so fun to watch. EOM

    1. Ha! Thanks for the "awards" this year! I was going back and forth about finishing it, but I'm glad I did. I've caught many people walking the neighborhood that slowed down and admired it.
