Sour Patch Kids Watermelon Ice Pops

Tonight we've got a special treat. Sour Patch Kids Watermelon Ice Pops!

We love Sour Patch Kids and we've tasted a bunch of different versions. Ice cream, cereal, marshmallows, cookies, yogurt, and even regular Sour Patch Kids Ice Pops. So when we were walking around the Dollar Tree and found this box of Sour Patch Kids Watermelon Ice Pops, I knew we'd have to try them.

Alli made the special request to have it after dinner, so sure, why not. The pops are pretty little, but still it was $1 for 5 pops, so not a bad value. And I like the swirl of green and red.
The back of the box of Watermelon Sour Patch Kids Chews has green and red kids, and the red kid has taken a bite out of the green kid!

Let's hope Ian and Alli don't follow their lead. They changed shirts special for this.
And how about the ice pops? They're delicious! Alli is ready to head back to the Dollar Tree and get more!

Grandpa thought the ice pops were pretty good.

I thought the ice pops were pretty delicious. They did a good job getting the same flavor as the candy into the ice pop.

Tried it, but likes the ice pop better.

Theresa still prefers the candies. We'll have to keep our eyes open for even more Sour Patch Kids treats!

  1. The watermelon flavor sounds like a good one! Noticed right away in the opening photo how well the kids' shirts matched against the frozen ice pops...nice choice Ian & Alli :-) Never know what fun surprises you'll find at the Dollar Tree! EOM
